Last year I drove up to northern Minnesota from Minneapolis to do some fishing one of my favorite lakes.  I camped at the Cross Lake Campground and had a blast.  I slept right in the back  of my truck.  I simply placed an air mattress in the bed of the truck that had a topper on it and I opened the side windows that also had screens in them so I could get some air circulation at night.  I

lowered the tailgate to get some extra headroom and I put a cooler on the edge of the tail gate.  Fortunately, there were not very many bugs so that was good.  I did have some chipmunk and squirrel visitors that were curious about my sleeping outside of a typical tent.  I was truly one with nature.  But then it started to drizzle.  And that’s when I wished I had a truck tent.

CampRight truck tents offer the largest interior room. More height for easier dressing and sets up out over the tailgate for added length. They sets up in minutes with four easy to use color coded poles and pole pockets. To get a good nights rest, the sky view vent lets air circulate and the cab access sleeve allows for a 12v fan and light cords. Four large interior gear pockets, d rings and light hanger hooks are for stowing gear and convenient lamp placement. Heavy duty nylon fender hooks and cargo snaps hold the tent in place and won’t mar the finish of your truck. The straps are also color coded for easy set up. You camp high and dry inside CampRight. The rain fly comes completely down over the tent and will protect you in the most terrible rain storms. Only CampRight offers clear vinyl rain fly windows.

SUV tents give you more room inside the tent

At most camp sites you have to drive your vehicle onto the camp site which takes up some of the space  so why not use some of the space that your vehicle is taking up to increase the amount of space inside your tent.  This sounds like a great idea doesn’t it?  You can do this with SUV tents.  For example, the Sportz SUV Tent wraps around the cargo area of your vehicle, allowing total access

to your vehicle.   You still have all the room inside of the tent but with Sportz SUV tents, you can open another door/flap to get into the rear of your SUV.

The Sportz SUV 83000 even has a detachable screen room that provides you with bug free enjoyment in the great outdoors, perfect for dining and family gatherings.  Kids can sleep in the back of the SUV tents or you can use the back of your SUV as extra storage that is conveniently accessible from inside the tent.  You can play the car radio and listen to tunes if you want.  And if you hook up an external hose to divert the exhaust from the rear of the vehicle, you can use the SUV air conditioner to keep the tent a little cooler on those hot, steamy days.

So next time you find yourself needing some extra tent space, consider SUV tents.

Truck tents allow you to sleep off the ground at literally any location you want and can drive up to.  For example, you can drive deep into the woods, set up your truck tent and sleep in the bed of your truck.  Or you can drive to the mountains in a Sportz Truck Tent.  The Sportz Truck Tent III is easy to set up and tear down.  The Sportz Truck Tent III is available for just about any model and size of

truck.

The Sportz Truck Tent III turns your truck into a comfortable camper faster than you can roast a marshmallow.  This is the easiest way to stay above the cold, damp ground and outfox those night-prowling critters.

Frustrating searches for a clean, dry and level camp site are now a thing of the past.  With the truck tent just park, pitch and voilà you’re living it up in a cozy home away from home. Camping out doesn’t get more convenient than this.  So next time you are planning a camping trip, take a good look at the Sportz Truck Tent.

Camping Tents are obviously available in many different styles, sizes, and colors but Truck Tents and SUV tents are a style all of their own.  Both allow you to leverage the inside of your vehicle for extra storage or sleeping room.   Many truck tents acutally sit on SUV Minivan Tent with Screen Roomtop of the truck bed and allow you to sleep in the bed of the truck only.

Other truck tents and all SUV tents actually sit on the ground like a normal camping tent but also have a means of connecting to the back of your truck, SUV, minivan or hatchback and covering it so you can use the space inside of your SUV or minivan.

CampRight makes a really cool SUV Tent (see picture) that lets you camp without leaving all the luxuries of home behind.

The tent connects to the back of your suv, minivan, or pick-up truck with cap, providing access to the inside of your vehicle for extra storage or sleeping locations.

The connection sleeve easily disconnects from your vehicle, leaving the tent behind as you go about the day’s adventures.  The attached screen room allows you to eat, play games, read, or just relax outside without entertaining any unwanted pests.

One of the things I really look for in a tent is the ability to stand up when getting dressed in the morning.  Not all tents allow you to do this, especially truck tents.  However, CampRight makes a really nice Truck Tent as shown in the picture below.  This truck tent is designed so you can stand up while getting dressed inside – wow.  The zipper pulls are glow in the dark so that you can easily find Truck Tent Mid-Size 6.4 Footthem with the flash light in the middle of the night.

Truck tents can sometimes be a little cramped inside but this truck tent has lots of room inside because it sets up out over tailgate for an extra 2 feet of length.   The floorless design allows for set up and tear down without removing gear from the bed of the truck.

This is really nice; especially if you’ve got an air bed/mattress in the bed of the truck that you don’t want to have to remove.  The mesh windows allow you to gaze at the stars as you are going to sleep.  How cool is that.  If you have a truck and you haven’t tried camping with a truck tent, give it a shot.  And don’t forget to get an air bed for extra comfort.

Most people seem to buy family tents, backpacking tents or dome tents and set up their tent at a camp site they’ve reserved at a campground.  But you really haven’t tried camping until you’ve tried truck tents or SUV tents.  Set up camp wherever your truck or Sportz SUV 83000 with Screen RoomSUV will take you.  Truck Tents allow you to sleep high and dry off the cold, dirty ground and in the bed of your truck.  They set up in just 10 minutes in the back of your open-bed pickup, creating a comfortable, restful sleeping area for two people.

SUV tents transform your SUV, Minivan or Hatchback vehicle into a convenient home away from home.  These innovative camping tents wrap around the cargo area of your vehicle allowing you to access the interior of your vehicle for storage or additional sleeping area.  Sportz is one of the top manufacturers of truck tents and SUV tents.  SUV tents from Sportz have a patented removable vehicle sleeve on all models that can be completely removed to convert the tent into a stand-alone ground tent making it easy to drive away from your campsite.

What’s a Truck Tent

You should buy a truck tent for your vehicle, especially if you are someone who uses their truck on any outdoor adventure. If you are not sure what this product is, here is a brief explanation. A truck tent can either sit independently in the back of your truck, be an extended enclosure for the bed, and even an extra addition to a free standing tent. Truck extension tents utilize a regular dome tent without a bottom. The poles edges attach directly to the frame of the bed of the truck, providing a shelter against the elements when you are sleeping in the back.

How many people go to the mountains during the summer just to sleep under the stars for a night of adventure? A truck tent can make these trips much more comfortable. You can bring an air mattress and sleeping bags and put them right in the bed. With a truck tent, you will not have to worry about everything being wet in the morning dew, or a mountain shower. If you are staying for a few days you can actually sit comfortably on the wheel wells, have a small table in the middle, and play cards, eat your meals, or whatever you want to do, without wind or bugs.Truck Tent full size crew cab

How many times have you been out in your dome tent in the middle of the night and discovered you forgot something in the truck bed? How many people wish they had some extra sleeping or storage area in their tent? With a truck tent, all of these problems are solved. With the extension attachment, you can turn your truck tent into an extra room for storing gear, or whatever else you have brought on your adventure. A truck tent can give you extra sleeping room, and with the dividing option, more privacy when camping with the kids. There are even truck tents that are designed to fit the back of SUVs, and even mini vans.

The materials used for a truck tent is the same quality as any other dome style tent, with sturdy spring poles, and weather resistant fabrics. You can seal the seams and make it waterproof, just as you would a regular tent. Because it attaches directly to the top of your truck bed, it is secure, and keeps the rain and wind from getting in and getting your gear wet. What a damper on your adventure to have to dry out your clothes or sleeping bags.

Whatever adventure you go on, there is a truck tent that will suit your needs. They come in a wide range of colors, from solid colors to camouflage prints, and prices that will fit into just about any budget. You can find a truck tent locally, but for the best selections you need to go online instead. Try a truck tent and you’ll be hooked.  They are so convenient.
